Is Oily Stool A Normal Side Effect Of Taking Invokana Tablet?

Dear friend Type II diabetic, lost excessive amount of weight in short time but is slowly gaining. Now dr. put him on Invokana and his stool is coming out oily/greasy. He is afraid to say or do anything and I am concerned for his health. Is this a normal side effect?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Let me tell you that you took it wrongly or may be under the wrong impression of oily stool it is not the condition, the stool must be containing the mucus, and you took it as oil, this condition may be sign of intestinal infection (Protozoal) and need some investigation, I advise you to have "Metronidazole" 400 mg twice a day for seven days on tentative basis and nothing to worry this will come around soon have nice day.
