Is Occasional Presence Of RBC In Urine A Cause For Concern?

I got my urine test done today, shows everything within normal range, except RBC occasional. Is that normal. I don t have any other complaint. I did the test to see if I had any glucose in urine, but the report shows nil glucose, and no blood in urine. Please advise.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history of finding Occasional RBC , no glucose and no blood.
This is not of much concern as rest of the urine report is normal. It is possible that you might have rough sexual activity or cystitis in past which is still showing this.
I would advise you the following:
Take plenty of water orally, repeat the urine test after 3 days, if normal you may please forget about it.
If there are abnormalities, then you have to undergo further tests and treatment.
I find this answer helpful
