Is Observation Value Of 327 In An HCG Blood Test Report Normal?
Hi my wife has tested hcg serum test. The result show 6.4 week and observation value is 327. Unfortunately our consultant will b not available for more 1 week and we are curious about the results. Can you please advise if 327 observation value in 6.4 week is good conclusion ?

HCG is human chorionic gonadotropin hormone secreted by placenta after fertilization of egg and implantation.
Normal HCG level at 6 week is around 10,000 to 56, 000 IU/L.
But your HCG level is very low: 327.
Following are the cause of low HCG:
Ectopic pregnancy
Miscarriage: if bleeding and cramp
Blighted ovum: fertilized egg failed to develop.
So please consult the gynecologist and do tests like USG to detect above cause and take proper advice
