Is Numbness In Right Hand Fingers Due To Paralysis Considering Patient Having High BP?

hi there..I suffer from backache mostly in winter due to two car accidents almost ten years back.MRI said one of the tendon was the cause of pain.,,which was being managed by me because of my ambitious nature.5 years back i overused my right hand in household,,,,the result was numbness in my right hand fingers..doctor prescribed some medicine, exercise along with rest...it worked.time to time i was having this problem when i over used my right hand but used to disappear as well....I,m a patient of high bloodpressure.one month back because of household i again overused my right hand.now I have numbness in my fingers except the small finger.even with rest the numbness is still there and causing distress...doctor prescribed MYOLGIN capsules.please tell me this not pyralsis??I AM 48.

hi, you are having synptoms of nerve entrapment or compression due to trauma or other condition. you may require NCV studies which will tell the exact site of compression. that is not paralysis for you. donot panic. hope this helped.
