Is Numbness In Foot And Toes Due To Pinched Nerve?

Just wondering if the numbness in my foot and toes could be caused from a pinched nerve. If I put any pressure on the top of my foot or bump my foot it tingles along with my toes could this be the problem or could it be something else like neuropathy?
