Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. You should take proper food needed for your body. Your body can't produce enough insulin even by stimulation by drugs that is why your doctor prescribed you insulin. So you should not miss it. If you miss it your sugar level increase and your body tissues can utilize sugar in absence of insulin also. There is high risk of microvessels damage in kidneys and retina of eye also. So you can ask your doctor to readjust the dose of insulin and diet for weight loss.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
