hi, i m archana. i have 8th month of pregnency.i m 26yrs old n my height is 5'4".my weight is 65kg.my problem is that i m not feeling movement of baby n after 7th month sonography i came to know that my baby is in opposite direction n his legs is straight n not turned thats why i m not feeling the movement of baby.my doctor declaired that i should go for segerian but i dont want. i want normal delievery.it is my 30th week of pregnency n its my 1st pregnency. what should i do? plz tell me
I understand your issue. Only having straight legs does not mean a cesarean section. It seems that the baby is upside down that is called a breech in medical terms. If this is the case then cesarean is indicated as this delivery is complicated.
As of now it is only 30 weeks so please recheck the baby's position again at 37 weeks. If it changes and the head goes down, you may have a normal delivery. if not then a cesarean may be needed.
In any case a normal delivery cannot be guaranteed in any case as emergency cesareans are needed in many women while attempting normal delivery. So please have faith in your doctor and follow his instructions.
