Is Normal Delivery Possible For Second Time And How Long Will Be The Labor?
hi i am 32 weeks pregnant with my second child will this labour be the same as i had during my first baby 14 and a half hours or will it be short. also i have large breast will my breast have lumps because of the milk formation and if i have will it be normal. will i have a normal delivery like the first.
I can understand your apprehension about labor and delivery.
In most cases the labor during second time is shorter than the first. But it is difficult to say how long it will be. Also a delivery is termed as normal only after the women delivers vaginally and there are no complications. At any point of time during labor a cesarean section may be needed depending upon the circumstances. So no one can predict the outcome until it actually happens.
Having said that I must add that the chances of normal delivery are much higher after one successful normal delivery so you have a good chance.
About the breast lumps, if the breasts are kept empty every time after feeding the baby then lumps do not form. So just take care to empty your breast every time after feed once you begin breast feeding.
Do not worry so much. You have a very good chance of delivering normally.
