Is Negative HIV DNA PCR Test At 26 Days Conclusive?
is a negative hiv dna pcr test at 26 days a good indicator. during the test i was experiencing what i felt as are symptoms. if they truly were are symptoms would that test show up positive or is there still a chance of giving me a false negative result?

1. The DNA-PCR test is a good test for detection of hiv around 2-3 weeks of risk exposure
2. You mentioned that you done this test on the 26th day of exposure so that you are safe and need not be worried
3. The accurate test for the confirmation of hiv is by the WESTERN BLOT test which usually done at the end of 6th week of exposure to risk
