Is Nebulizer With Levolin Safe For An Infant For Cold And Cough?

My kid is 2 year old and he is suffering from cold and cough. Last time when we consulted his pediatrician with same symptoms, she suggested for nebulization with levolin. Is that nebulization is safe for my kid. Shall I can Nebulize to him with the same medicine? Also I wants to know about the side effects of this.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello thank you for writing us here.
nebulizing is the safest and the easiest way to deliver medicine to infants via respiratory system. levolin is levosalbutamol used for dilation of the bronchus and the airway to lungs.
Side effects are minor like headache or increased heart beat for sometime. It's safe for your child.
God bless you and your little prince.

Best regards,
Dr Gunjan
