Is My Platelet Count Normal During Fever?

Res.sir,i am 35 yrs old female,i got fever,cold and cough before five days,i did my blood tests before 4 days,in my blood test report malarial parasite not seen,widal-typhi test is ok,but my platelets count is 634 x10^9/L refrerance range 150-350,i went to a Dr.,he told me nothing to worry it's a viral fever but when today i read on net about high platelets and worried much pls give me some of information...yours thankful Mrs.patel.
