Is My Hbsag And Hcv Antibody Test Normal?

dear doctors

today i made hbsag and anti hcv antibody test i am worried about the result. kindly advise filoowing are the results

hbsag.............non reactive (0.98)
cut off index for nonreactive hbsag.....................2
methed micro[aricle enzye immunological(meia) 3r generational

Anti hcv antibody ..............reactive (12.0)
cut of index for nonreactive nti hcv antibody ...............1
method chemiluminescent immunological immunoassay (CMIA)

Your HBsAg test is normal. Your HEPATITIS C VIRUS test is showing reactive that is positive result which means that you are infected with HEPATITIS C VIRUS. The result is definitely critical and you should visit a doctor without further delay. He will guide u for further work up. Keep your self cool. What I would suggest is to do it at another laboratory with some another method just to rule out chances for false positive. But to mention that the method you have done HCV TEST is highly specific and chances are almost nil that any other place will give a different result.
