Is Missing A Dose Of Amoxicillin Capsule A Cause For Concern?

1st question: Suppose to take amoxicillin cap 500mg twice a day for 10 days. 1st night 6:30 pm, 2nd day 11:30am and 10:30 pm, 3rd day 10:30am and missed night dose, just took at 4:30am the missed dose. How do I take the next dose for the 10:30am dose? Can I still take it? 2nd question:Also, today is Sunday. Started taking meds on Thursday night, throat still hurts very badly when I wake up? Will it take a while amoxicillin to kick in?

I really appreciate your concern, the dosage of antibiotic entirely depends upon the clinical and etiological diagnosis and age and weight of the patient, generally and ideal dose of the Amoxicillin is 500 mg eight hourly for five to seven in adult case in mild to moderate infection, else this may varies according to severity, the dosage that you took is not ideal one second you have not mentioned for what it is being given (Throat hurt does not clear the query) hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
