Is Mid-cycle Bleeding Due To Taking Primolut?

Hi. Two month ago I took Primolut nur for 5 days to change my period time. As a result, I had slight bleeding for about 2-3 weeks until period arrived. Last week I went to my gynecologist and during vaginal ultrasound she find something she thought might be a cyst but she wasn't sure. As it was just before my period, she told me to come for another ultrasound next week. Meanwhile my period ended and again I find light bleeding when checking inside the vagina.
My question - Does it possible that the bleeding is still a result of the medicine? Or it spouse to be a cyst?
Many thanks

Hello ma'am and welcome.

One major side effect of such medications is inter-menstrual bleeding and a menstrual irregularity. So the cause for your presentation is quite clear. Although this should normalize in a month or so, if it dors not then please report to your doctor.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
