Is Mezol Suggested For Conjunctivitis?
Is there any contra indication to use Mezol ? I ahd severe vital conjunctitivits last month and was prescribed steroid orally and locally as eye drops. Now I am still taking steroid eydrops once a day and refresh eye drops. I had unertaken iridoplasy laser operation in March and was prescribed Temelol to reduce pressure. But the doctor asked me to stop Temelol while I am on steroids. I am having pain and itichiness after working whole day on the computer and do not dare to use Temelol but I tried Mezol this morning and the itichiness is better. Can I put Mezol like tow to three times a day while I am takign steroid eye drops/ I am a 60 year old female , 5 feet 4 and overweight. I am also a medical doctor.

mezzo is antihistaminic vasocostrctive drug. It can not be used to treat conjunctivitis.it can reduce itching and redness. Steroid can induce glaucoma and dibetis. In excessive usrre use of computer you may develop dry eye. Refresh eye tear drop is the best. In this case you can use mezol.
