Is Menstrual Blood Harmful?

Hello Doctor, I had intercourse with my wife during menstruation, unknowingly the cycle get started and starts bleeding. After the intercourse, i noticed that its bleeding and get shocked, how it is happen and asked my spouse then only she said its periods time only thats why it gets bleeded. Is there any problem that menstrual blood stain on my penis inner layer? Whether i want to go for any consultation regarding STD? If so any STD affects means what will be symptoms for myself? Whether my wife getting hurted by means of intercourse?

Relax.

Sex during menstrual cycle in safe.

You do not get any problem due to mentrual blood.

STD can transmit even without menstrual blood.

STD is nothing to do with menstrual flow.

STD can transmit through unprotected sex if one of the partner is suffering from STD.

So you need to get knowledge 1st and require to do correction of your myth regarding sex.

Do take advise.
