Is Leukoplakia A Dangerous Disease?

how dangerous is leukoplakia? I have recently been examined by a resident ENT and she said I am
fine, just watch for pain, redness or enlargement of the area. That was last week. Now, I have a tactical
flashlight that shows things that ordinary flashlights do not. In looking at the back of my mouth today
I notice that the tiny white spot has disappeared, but the area is bright pink but does not hurt, so do I
need further examination at this time?
