Is Kidney Pain Related To Type 2 Diabetes?

I am a type 2 diabetic and I am currently having pain in my kidneys, I am waiting for my routine blood tests to come back could you please advise what may have caused the pain, I have been very stable with my sugar levels at mid 7 but currently the have gone to the mid teens following this pain is it related

Hi,

How did you diagnose the pain as kidney pain?? If it is a back or abdominal pain, it could be due to many other reasons. Yes, any pain or stress will increase blood glucose levels. You must meet a doctor who can arrange few tests including urine tests to look for evidence of stones, infection etc.
