Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...my daughter who is 16 is considering braces but the orthodontist mentioned she may need jaw surgery if her jaw grows any more. should she wait until she is older for braces to ensure no further growth in jaw

According to me you should go for the treatment , as the orthodontist is mentioning, as your daughter is now 16 and 90 % of bone growth has taken place, so you can go for the surgery.
