General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Just itching in the toe is not the sign of the diabetes.
But should be confimred by the blood tests as you have family history of the diabetes.
It could be a allergic/contact dermatitis, fungal infection, neuropathy.
I would suggest to go for fasting blood sugar, glycated hemoglobin to rule out the diabetes,
KOH mount and physical examination to rule out the above causes.
Apply local application of the benadryl and clotrimazole
Keep the toe dry and clean and avoid sweating.
Wear comfortable foot wear
Hope this may help you
