Is It Serious To Have Fluttering In Chest, Palpitation When Having Prehypertension?
Hi I am 28years old I have also prehypertantion problem from two years it s started when I m pregnant but now sometimes I feeling like fluttring in chest and sometimes palpitation . Is it serious ? I m too much worried about that my all tests like sugar cholesterol and thyroid tests are normal plz tell me what can I do I m too much worry I have two small children

In the normal heart beat, a signal starts at the a specific point of the heart and travels along a specific pathway to cause the rest of the heart to beat.
Palpitations occur if there are any problems with any part of this process.
The palpitations may not indicate any serious heart disease but you should consider having tests done such as an ECG (to look at the rate and rhythm of the heart) , full blood count (anemia can cause palpitations) and thyroid tests.
