Is It Safe To Use Propofol As An Anesthetic During Colonoscopy?

I had a colonoscopy and propofol was used as the anesthetic. I started itching all over about 2 days later and the itching has not subsided It has now been nearly one week since the procedure and I am still suffering the itch along with some rash/welts. Is this normal and how long before it goes away?

Hi
If this were an allergic reaction to the propofol it should have resolved by now
You need to see a doctor for a cortisone injection to resolve the problem
