Is It Safe To Use Hearing Aid For Hearing Loss?

Hi Sir/Madam,
My name is vanitha. My grandma is suffering from hearing loss from past few months. I want her to get a hearind aid machine. Please suggest aa good physician whome we can contact and also an average cost for the hearind aid device.

Hi Vanitha , Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum .
If I were your grandma treating Doctor , I would examine her ear drum ,do tunning fork test & pure tone audiometry to know type ,degree of hearing loss before advising her hearing aids. Average cost hearing aid of good company will come around Rs 8000/- , cost increases as clearity increases.
You don't mention your City , to advise you good ENT consultant in your city.
