Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
Tufscne is isotretinoin which is prescribed for severe cases of acne. Given under the supervision of a qualified dermatologist and with regular monitoring, it is quite safe. You may experience dryness of skin and chapping of lips as the most common side effects. Other side effects are rare. Your doctor may monitor your lipid profile and liver function test monthly. We usually give 3-4 months during which the side effects will be monitored.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
