Is It Safe To Take Sleep Pills?

My Mother is 91 and weighs approx 43 kilos. She has been on Norspan patches for a few years and after seeing another doctor (he doctor was away) he said he would like her to go off nor span as he felt it was to strong for her. She went off it straight away almost a week ago (I think he should have weaned her off the patch) and has had just about all of the symptoms of withdrawall.
Until I looked it up on the computer I bought she was going mad. She is not sleeping at all but is so tired that she sits with her head having onto her knees. She has diarrhoea and very restless legs and arms. Can she take a tablet for diarrhoea? and what about getting a sleeping pill?

physical health is must for mental health

if she has diarrhea than it is must to treat it
sometimes due to it sleep problems arises
but still sleep problem persist than treatment of it required

now a days there are good drugs available in which dependance is very low

like tab zolpidame
but natural way is the best like

regular exercise that make him fatigue
meditations and yoga
fix sleep schedule and stick on it
no day time sleep
avoid smoking drinking
avoid tea coffee before going to bed
cool and calm bed room
reading boring books while u in bed
light music can help

if she has any associate psychological complain like depressed mood and anxiety than treatment of it is also necessary
consult psychiatrist
