Is It Safe To Take Pseudoephedrine For Cold Before Urinalysis?
I took a cold med today at 11 am it has 30mg of puesephedrine. I may have a u a tomorrow for my doctor in which of course I will let her know I took it but have in the past been accused of using drugs because of a cold med like this and it's hard to explain it when a lab says that this is what's in it. I took one tab generic kind which contained 200 mg of ibuprofen as well. I just want to know if it will be out of my system by 11 am tomorrow. I hate having to explain things that I am not doing wrong but am prepared with the empty container.

excretion half life of pseudoephedrine is 4-8 hr. It need 5 half life to excrete a drug completely from body. Means it would take 20-40 hour to excrete it out completely from body. in ur case u have less than one day, its mean chances of getting test positive is high.
