Hello,
Primolut is not to be taken in pregnancy as it can cause virilization if the fetus is female and also can cause anatomical defects in the male. Duphaston is a safer drug to be used in pregnancy. Please ask your consultant the need to have these medications because progesterones are given in pregnancy only if there is a real deficiency. Unnecessary use of excess progesterone has been seen to cause abortions. Please maintain a healthy weight and a healthy diet and avoid stress. Hope this helps.
