Is It Safe To Take Progesterone In The Early Pregnancy Stages?

i'm newly pregnant. when i went to the doctor to check he couldn't see the sac so he asked me to do bhcg test. the result was 515,63, so he recommended using progesterone. i'm confused to use it or not. is it safe?
i'm 27 years old. 164 centimeters height, 55 kilos weight. i had one miscarriage. after that i got pregnant and i have one baby. i had the misscarriage coz the baby was not growing and the pregnancy happened few days before the period. this time also prenancy happened one week before period. i'm stressed.
