Is It Safe To Take One Or Two Dosages Of Beer Per Week?
I am a male, 66 yrs, old and started a low dosage of Celesta about 10 days ago. Reason ,my wife died in Oct. of last year and I just needed something to help me get a grip. Celesta has done that in short order. My question is can you have a beer or a mixed drink once or twice a week - no more? I'm not a heavy drinker but I do social drink with friends ( sometimes) after a outing on the week end.

yes you can have recommended level of alcohol.
taking 18 to 20 units of alcohol in a week in allowed. depends upon the type of drink you choose.2 days should be kept free from taking alcohol in a week.
addition to that increased risk of liver damage for those who drink daily compared with those who drink periodically or intermittently."
