Is It Safe To Take Norethisterone After Periods Started?

My daughter was prescribed norethisterone to delay her period whilst on holiday. She was told to start two days before period is due. She took a tablet first thing this morning, but an hour later has started her period early. Should she continue with the tablets?

I UNDERSTAND YOUR QUERY.
Usually period starts when the blood level of hormone progesteron drops down -causing the breakage of blood vessels in uterine inner lining & start bleeding.
Norehesterone is a hormone preparation which continues the hormonal level in blood ,thus delays the period-
Once the bleeding has started, the natural fall of hormonal level has already taken place. the drug can not have desired effect of delaying period.
continuing the pills can cause hormonal disturbance ^ irregularity in period.So it's better to discontinue the tablets.
