Is It Safe To Take Gelusil Tablets During Pregnancy?

My wife is at 16th week of pregnancy. Yest onwards looks like a severe gastric problem . Doctor told to take pantedac 40 mg . Taken, still stomach aches a lot on right side and a lot of gas / burping . . Is it safe to take gelusil tablets ? How many can she take ?

Dear sir,I understand your concern.in my opinion gastritis is commonly seen in pregnancy due to harmones.you can take gelusil tabs 2 or 3 per day depending on the severity.and along with tablets avoid spicy diet ,take food frequently every 2 hrs in small quantities.and skip any meal.add curd or butter milk in diet daily.
