Is It Safe To Take Both Duphaston And Clomid Together In A Day To Get Regular Periods ?
Hi I am jaby, married 29 yr old. I have irregular periods, my LMP I on june 3rd, but till now I dint have my periods it almost 10 days late. But HMP test shows that its negative. My doctor gave me dupheston to get periods for 5 days 2per day. 2 months before doctor asked me to have clomid from 2day of periods for 5days. Is it safe to eat Both duphaston and clomid together in a day.

hi welcome to health care magic.yes dear there is no problem in taking both tablet togather in day.it may cause gasritis so take some antacid with it.and do regular follow up to your doctor.

Both the medicines are given for different purpose. Clomiphene is given to induce ovulation in woman who is not ovulating. It is usually given from day2 -day 6. while duphaston is usually given in last 15 days to support the pregnancy if fertilization occurs or to get periods when patient is not ovulating. Its safe if you take together but it wont be required to take both the medicines same day. In same cycle both can be taken .Take care.
