Is It Safe To Take Betnesol Injection During Pregnancy?
my height is 5' 1" , my weight is 66kgs & i am 28 years old. i am at 32 weeks of pregnancy, my doctor has advised me betnesol injection 12hrs apart, this is my first pregnancy. I want to know why this injection is given & whether it is having any side effects or not? What should be my cervix length during this time?

Thanks for writing.
I presume your doctor advised you the injection as you are having preterm contractions. The injection is extremely helpful to your baby as it improves its lung function at birth just incase it is born preterm.The injection had favourable effect on the baby so better take it.
Also cervical length should be more than 2.5 cms but I have seen lot of patients where they have preterm pains even if they have normal cervix length.
