Is It Safe To Take Azifast For Long Term?

hi doctor,i am female -32 yrs with terrible inflamed acne. my dermatologist gave Azifast for 6 weeks, 1 daily for Mon, Tue, & Wed. i have notice great improvement after the 6 weeks period. can i go ahead and continue the druge for another 6 weeks to clear the rest of the acne?

Self medication particularly antibiotic is never recommended as every medicine has their side effects including azifast. You are requested to meet your doctor who may have different but recommended plan for management of your acne. He know it very well that what should be prescribed next to azifast. To conclude you are not supposed to continue after 6 weeks without prescription of your doctor.
