Is It Safe To Take Asomax For BP During Pregnancy?

Hi Doctor, I am already a High BP Patient, Age 31 Years and now Pregnant (six weeks). I am taking Asomax 2.5 mg for BP. I have following quaries with respect to pregnancy. 1. The tablet for BP is safe? 2. Having BP can cause any major probelms in development of child ? or Premature delivery? 3. Should I register my name with normal Maternity Home or proper hospital for delivery. One gynec has told me that BP can cause serious problems in child development

Amlodepine can be taken during pregnancy. Your bp can increase during pregnancy because of superimposed pregnancy induced bp. Also it can interfere with the proper grth of your baby.register yourself at a good hospital.
