Is It Safe To Take Vitamin B12 Shots In A Person With Hypothyroidism?

Are Vitamin B12 shots healthy for a 54 year old female? I need to lose about 50 lbs. I have slight hypothyroidism, take.088 mcg s daily for that. Have a history of SVT, but had ablation and cryo to fix that. And, what is phentermine and lipotropics for weight loss? Thank you!
