Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The use of the nyquil will likely be associated with a risk for increased drowsiness which may carry over to the morning. It is also possible that there may be increased dizziness, confusion in some people.

If this is not a problem for you then you can consider using the medicine but if you have to work, etcetera, then you might not want to use the nyquil.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James
