Is It Safe To Take Gynaecosid For Pregnancy Termination?

Hi docter good evening my period dt is 13th of every mnth n after having sex i take milane teb but 4to 5 times i missed my rutine teb so i concieve baby last mnth when i crossed my period dt so i come to know im pregnent for confermation i took urine report but i want obort this on 24 july in night i took 2 teb gynicocid kindly guide me it will be beneficial or not n when teb will start the work

Hello, I really appreciate your concern. Gynaecosid tablets can be used as a substitute for Levonogestrel emergency contraception (morning after pill). But it should not be used for termination of pregnancy.
You can go for abortion with Medical termination of Pregnancy kit (MTP) which contains 1 tablet of mifepristone and 4 tablets of misoprostol. First take mifeprostone orally then after 24-36 hours take misoprostol 2 tablets either orally or intra-vaginal. Usually bleeding occurs within 24 hours of misoprostol tablets. If it does not happen then take another 2 tablets of misoprostol. If there is severe bleeding or any other complications then consult an obstetrician immediately. After using MTP it is advisable to go for Ultrasonography after 1 week of cessation of bleeding to confirm complete abortion.
