Is It Safe To Take Clotrimazole And Fluconazole For Balanitis?

Hello, I m a 18 yrs old male overall healthy. I used to have a prostatitis due to enterococcus faecalis which was treated with many antibiotics to no avail. However, recently I was treated with a very strong antibiotic - linezolid and the problem is gone. However, It seems that I have a balanitis left that is very hard to treat and many dermatologists cannot help me. Currently I ve been prescribed clotrimazole, fluconazole, nystatin and miconazole which have not helped at all... Please help me

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns. You have balantitis and you are wondering how to treat it. You have tried numerous anti-fungals and none have helped. I may recommend actually using hydrocortisone cream once daily and see if that reduces the redness. Otherwise I have no other optional treatments for you
