Is It Safe To Take Clonazepam After Smoking Meth?

Hi, I smoked crystal meth for the very first time in my life last night. It was a bad choice, and I don't plan on ever doing it again. I am concerned about taking my Lexapro 20mg, Gabapentin 900mg, and Clonazepam 1mg. It has been several hours, and I really want to take my medication. Is it safe?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi.

I had gone through your query.

Better to avoid both meth and clonazepam. Take your medicines regularly and avoid smoking meth.

Meth can worsen your psychological health and decrease chances of recovery by affecting medicines. In long term meth can precipitated psychological illness and lead to more serious psychological disorder.

So stop taking meth and take proper psychiatry treatment for better health.

Consult psychiatrist, De addiction and rehabilitation center for better assistance.

Glad to help you further.
Thank you,
