Is It Safe To Take Biocon (insulin) 24 Units Morning & 16 Units In Night?
My wife has been taking insugen (Biocon) 30/70 24 units in the morning and 16 units at night but her sugar levels are still not coming in noral range. She has been taking this for quite some time now and the doctor keeps increasing the dosage. Do we need to change to a different brand if this one has stopped working.
Dear sir i can understand your concern. in my opinion there are good brand of insulin which are more effective and good quality everyone manufactures insulin by same process but the cold chain management matters a lot in deciding the efficacy of insulin. In my opinion Brands like Novo Nordisk and Eli lilly are very old and pioneers But with out knowing the diagnosis and physiological condition of your wife its difficult to comment on insulin. for diabetes Exercise and diet also matters a lot.
