Is It Safe To Ride In A Car After Minor Surgery?

Is it ok to ride in a car after minor back surgery? My surgery was 2 days ago and I feel fine but my boyfriend says I cant ride. I want to go to a dinner 25 minutes away and he doesnt want to take me. Also is it ok to fly a week or more after, say from NC to North Dakota?

Hello dear,
These all depends on the type and extend of the procedure you had.
If it was a surgery on your spine,you can not travel by car/flight this time,usually for a few weeks.
It is better to discuss this with your treating doctor before any ride.
