Thanks for writing to us.

There is no harm in taking fluride treatment prior to thyroid removal.

You can also prefer thyroid treatment after fluride treatment has undergone.

Meanwhile.maintain oral hygiene well.

Use fluridated toothpaste to brush your teeth.

Get routine dental check up done.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for asking the query,

You can safely give fluoride treatment in patients before thyroid treatment.
For other treatment options post removal a clinical evaluation is required, this can include filling of the tooth with restorative materials, placements of prosthetic caps.
Fluoride can also be administered to the patient safely post removal of thyroid gland, the patients should be made aware of all the possible side effects of the product advised.

Hope this helps out,

Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic forum.
Before getting your thyroid gland removed, you can safely take the fluoride treatment. If you have already got your thyroid gland removed, even then you can take fluoride treatment for your teeth as it is the iodine which is taken up by the thyroid gland.
