Hello and welcome,

If the palcenta is reaching the internal os then it is called a placenta previa.

Normally the placenta is attached to the upper part of the uterus. If it lies low down, the baby as well as growing pregnancy may cause it to bleed. The bleeding varies from slight to torrential bleeding. Sometimes the palcenta will appear to shift its position as pregnancy advances. This happens as the part where the placenta was attached grows more than the upper part of the uterus. But is is rare for placentas that reach the os to go away from it in later pregnancy.

So as of now, just rest as much as possible , avoid lifting heavy weights and avoid sudden jerks to abdomen. Get a repeat scan after 2 months to see if the placenta has migrated from its position.

Best of luck and have a safe pregnancy.
Hope this satisfies your query.
