Is It Safe To Give Omnacortil 5mg For Cough?
Hi docter,my daugther is 6yrs old n has cough since 8wks now.Nights r really bad.I took her to d hosptl,they gav her cetrizin syrup for two weks n salbutamol pump concludng that she has allergy.But i hav finished d course as told by d doc.but stil no improvment.My question is can i giv her omnacortil 5mg before bed tim wil that help coz in d previous history my daugtr was cured wid omnacortil whil b were away on a holiday n she was suferng d same.plz advise me docter.thank you.

Welcome to the HCM
If the nocturnal cough is not responding simply with cetrizine and salbutamol then one can add omnacortil 5 ml tds for four five days. only to the antiinflammatory response and thus the symotomatic reasponse.
