Hi doctor, my little girl is one week old. Last two days she has been crying a lot even after feeding. My paediatrician has advised colimex drops. Are they safe for a one week old baby? Since the instructions in the box say after six months. And what is the dose?

Is It Safe To Give Colimex For Infants?
Hi & Welcome to HCM. I appreciate your concern for your one week old baby. One of the common causes of prolonged crying in a new born is abdominal pain or colic. Colimex is a herbal medication for abdominal colic. It is very safe and usually prescribed in newborns. You can give the child 5 drops when required. Consult the treating doctor if the problem persists. Hope this answers your query.
