Is It Safe To Breastfeed The First Child In The 8th Month Of Pregnancy?

Good Afternoon Doctor My wife is in her 8th Month of pregnancy but she is not able to stop her breast-feeding. At the most once in a day she has to breastfeed her child who is 1 year 8 mnths now. Is it fine to breast feed during this 8th Month of pregnancy or does it have any serious problem for the unborn baby?

Hello dear, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Yes it is safe but try to avoid it in case you have pain abdomen or any heaviness in perineum.
Because release of milk requires oxytocin release which may cause uterine contractions.
In case you have any questions in future you can contact me directly on http://bit.ly/drmanishajain
