Is It Right To Take Forecox Medicine In Empty Stomach?

Hello My mother 50 yr , 64 kg had recently suspected for left knee joint tb...and started tab forecox ...2 tab daily...empty stomach. Is it a right dose ...? Can it be taken after breakfast..? Or in devided doses.? (Because she is having regular vomiting..!& also having gastric ulcers. ....) Should we add levofloxacin...? (As one another dr suggested) Plz consult me... Thnx

Hi Welcome to HCM
This is Dr Amit. Causes of vomiting is mainly due to acidity and gastric upset caused by FORECOX so i would suggest to take any antacids(Drugs to treat acidity) suggested by your doctor before meal and take the FORECOX after the meal. No need to divide the doses or to add levofloxacin
