Is It Required To Take Medication For Hypertension?

I started taking wellbutrin xl and I had my blood pressure taken several times and today I was told to see. My doctor. My psychiatrist said he does not deal with side effects like hypertension. I would have to see my internist. I see him tomorrow. Is it prudent for me to start high blood pressure medication or change antidepressants? I don t want to take blood pressure medication because there might be side effects there also. What is the. Best answer?

Hello

If the blood pressure has increased after starting wellbutrin, I think the change of drug is indicated.

If the blood pressure levels are seriously raised, then anti-hypertensive drugs are indicated.

However, if mildly raised, some lifestyle modification like regular aerobic exercises, healthy diet, relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation, restricting salt intake will help.
