Is It Required To Take Bigomet If Blood Sugar Level Is In Margin Line?

hi i am 24 yrs old,5'5" height, 95 kgs weight and recently diagnosed with pco,fatty liver, retroverted uterous. my doctor gynecologist prescribed me krimson35, bigomet sr 500, livfit 300, and pan D. he also told to reduce my weight. I have reduced 12 kgs in 7 months. i have started these medicine from december '13. and before that another doctor prescribed to take novelon, obimet sr 500. I want to know that is bigomet is a blood sugar controlling medicine?? if yes then why should i am adviced to take it?? as my blood sugar level is on the margin line. i did fasting of blood sugar on july '13.

Although metformin is a antidiabetic medication but is also very useful in females suffering from PCOS.
It helps in ..
Reducing insulin resistance and reducing weight.
decreases the level of androgens produced by ovaries and adrenal glands.
It helps in starting in ovulation.
It helps in preventing miscarriages in females suffering from PCOS.
It is a very important medicine in treating PCOS and hence is prescribed to almost all females suffering from PCOS.
